For something different for the ladies that attend my classes, I decided that we a couple of bookmarks instead of cards.
These are some of different kinds of bookmarks that can be made. The class did the last two on the right. Notice that they can be made to any length. This is how we did them.
CUTE! One for girls and one for the boys!
FOR BOTH BOOKMARKS

Insert layer into the Scallop Trim punch. Make sure that the layer is centred and then punch. Do the same for the other layer.
This is the outcome.
Slide, the base layer into the large tag punch. NOTE: Insert the layer at the TOP OF PUNCH. If you try to insert the paper from the bottom of the punch (square end), it will crease the card and it is SO MUCH HARDER TO THREAD THROUGH!
As you are sliding the layer in, make sure that you stop just before the end. Make sure that the card is LEVEL in the punch.
Do the same with the top layer.
Now all there is to do, is to decorate your bookmark and give it to someone special.
NOTE: Do not use glitter. (What! Did I say that?) The glitter can be transferred to the book page and if the book is special the recipient of the bookmark might not be too happy 😦 Also, make sure that your embellisments are stuck on flat and not raised. If raised, they could easily get caught and fall off.
